In the event of a personal emergency, a Dogg walker may cancel a walk. This will result in a replacement walker being found to fulfil the job.
If an owner is to cancel within 24 hours but before 1 hour of a walk commencing, the walker will still receive 50% of the value of the walk (inclusive of the Dogg Service Fee) in the form of a cancellation fee, which is charged to the owner.
Should a walk be cancelled within one hour of the services commencing, then a 100% cancellation fee will be incurred (inclusive of the Dogg Service Fee). This is to ensure that walkers are compensated for the travel time incurred and potential loss of business.
If you have cancelled a walk and feel that you should be exempt from the Cancellation Fee, then you can submit a dispute by following the dispute guide found at https://dogg.app/payments-refunds-policy
